Realization of a lover

I was waiting for the morning when u dress up for me
I was waiting for the morning when u make my tea

I was waiting for the noon to text you "come soon"
I was waiting for the noon to see my honey's moon (face)

I was waiting for the evening to shop with you
I was waiting for the evening to hip-hop with you
I was waiting for the night when you will lie besides me in my bed
I was waiting for the night when your face will be shy and red

It dawned to me
Why am I waiting when you are already mine
Aren't we together ever since the Sun started to shine

Surprising as it sounds though
Here i am, ready to let you go

A Diary of crumpled and ironed papers called LIFE

Came across the quote :  Trust is like a paper, once crumpled it can't be perfect.
Was thinking about it whole day so much that decided to put it on the blog, after 2 years almost, huh.

So how true is that.  The whole universe is working smoothly just because there is trust.
We trust the Sun that its going to rise every day.
We trust the sky that its going to make it rain every year.
We trust our heart that its going to beat every moment.
We trust our mother that she is going to love us every moment.
We trust our spouse that her/his heart is only beating for me every moment.
We trust our doctor that he/she is going to prescribe us the right medicine.
We trust god that he will always keep us happy, healthy and wealthy even though we don't know where/how/what he/she/it is.

So what happens when the paper gets crumpled, the trust gets broken.
OMG how can this happen? OMG how can he/she do that ?

Nature breaks the trust of humans, results are :Tsunami, Earthquake, Floods etc.
Human breaks the trust of nature, results are : air, noise, water pollution etc.
Our body breaks our trust, results are : cough, cold, fever, cancer, aids etc.
Doctor breaks trust of patience, results are : prolonged disease, physical deformity, death etc.
Person breaks trust of other person, results are : fight, robbery, break up, divorce, murder etc.
God breaks our trust, results are all of the above and many more.

Nothing is permanent in this world and nor is The Trust. But there is always an exception, and that exception is Love.
Do we stop loving the nature after a natural disaster.
Do we stop loving our body just because we had/have fever, cough, cold, or even cancer and aids.
Do we stop trusting doctors just because they couldn't save our relative.
Do we stop loving the person so close to our heart who broke our trust, crumpled the paper.
Do we stop loving god.
No we don't. Its our nature. We don't have option but to Love.

The paper has a big list of expectations written at the top of it in Bold, and since those expectations are not fulfilled we don't want to read it anymore and so we crumple it by ourselves and throw it at the corner of our heart.
But we forget that at back of the paper there are so many beautiful poems written in the form of memories which either we agree or not will continue to cherish our lives and the smile on our lips while remembering those memories is nothing but a form of love :-)

For all those who are at the other side of the story. Means those who are the reason for crumpling the paper, hurting someone. If you feel the pinch/guilt for what you have done, let it be there. It is good for you. The pinch will make sure that you don't repeat your mistake again.
And be sure that if you pour your heart with unconditional love and infinite patience, then even more beautiful poems will be written on the next uncrumpled paper.

Life is not just one paper, its a diary of many ironed and crumpled papers. It's up to you to either throw away 1 crumpled paper or to start writing new melodies on the next one. Love doesn't end with a few wrinkles, it grows even stronger with each page.

Making your own Pasta

A friend of mine was telling me about the her first cooking experience. How she made the pasta for the first time in her life and how she messed it up. It tasted so bad that only she had to eat it all by herself and though it tasted bad she loved it.
Now there she had two choices, either to throw it away or to eat it all by herself. But I guess she never considered the first choice as The Pasta was her creation. However bad it tasted that was the best dish she had ever had.

Similarly in our lives when we start taking our own decisions, there could be a time when things will go wrong. Everyone else around will refuse to support. That time also we will have two choices. One to stick with our decision and second is to let go our dream. Dreams are not negotiable.
Be responsible for the decisions you have made. If the decision has gone wrong don't just back off or throw it away. Accept the consequences and be ready to face it all by yourself.

I am sure a day will come when everyone will love your pasta and they will be proud of your cooking.

Second Mind

I am a big fan of Mr Paulo Coelho(writer of Alchemist). Few days back I finished his book, "The Valkyries". In this book he is talking about second mind, controlling your second mind calling your angels and weird things like that. I really liked the way he has presented the concept of second mind.

So what is the second mind?
Second mind is something that is always at work. Whether you want it not it keeps working.
For example when you are doing something and along with it you are listening to music. That music at times keeps going like a background sound in your mind even if you are not at all concentrating on it and it becomes irritating also at times when you want to get rid of it and you are not able to.
Also second mind is something that opposes you for whatever you do. For eg when you go for some party and after having your 3rd desert your actual mind starts telling you "enough now" but your second mind says " its okay dude I am sure you will exercise tomorrow morning." and then you go for the 4th one. Next morning when your alarm rings your 1st mind says "get up! you must exercise" and your 2nd mind says "ahhh not today. Its too late. I dont think you will be able to complete your exercise and you have to reach office early today."

We always have two sides when we are thinking something. 1st mind says "I want to be rich. I want to start my own business or Stock market is going up lets invest in the market." At the same time 2nd mind says what if it goes down what if I get addicted what if my idea fails and what if I go broke" and ultimately we end up dropping the idea. Second mind is the critic inside you who always tries to pull your leg.

Thus it is crucial to control our second mind. Paulo says "all of us create a kind of magic space around us. Usually its a circle wid radius 15 feet and we pay attention to what goes on within it doesn't matter whether its people tables telephone or windows. We try to control the situations that we ourselves create. In order to live in the present you have to control your second mind and look at the horizon."

Looking at the horizon is quite fun. I tried it while taking a walk. Its so true that we create a space around us and we choose to stay in our comfort zone. I don't know if it really helps to be in present moment but its good fun.I realized that there are very few occasions when we try to explore the horizon. We do it when we are out on a picnic while watching scenery and we enjoy that moment of exploring the horizon. I think what paulo wants to convey that if we widen vision of our eyes if we increase the diameter of the magic circle that we create around us; it will automatically broaden the vision of our mind.

In simple words think big. Don't hesitate while taking audacious decisions. All the best :)

Feeling Rich

Few days back I had gone to a bank alone for the first time in my life. My mom used to work in bank so it never happened that there was a need for me to go to the bank. I always used to think that commerce is the most boring stream. When I went inside the bank there was total chaos. It was very similar to a sabji market(i never go there also but we get to see tht at every railway station) only difference was that it was air conditioned and instead of sabji walis screaming there were employees in formals smiling at you. I just wanted to submit the cheque by filling a paying slip and even after hearing instructions from my mom many times i asked a confirmatory question to a lady besides me. That time i felt i must make myself aware of what is happening in this field. So while searching for books on this topic i came across this book called Rich Dad Poor Dad which really motivated me to become financially literate. I will love to share some things i read during this last month.

99% of the wealth in this world is owned by just 1% people. So there has to be something that this people must be knowing that poor or middle class people are not aware of. Above diagram shows why rich people gets richer. They invest their money such that the money multiplies itself. They invest their money in creating their asset column. They don't work for money instead money works for them.

Financial literacy is very much important if you want to do business. Many people say they want to do business and for that they take a job in their area of expertise in which they wish to start their business. For eg someone who wants to write a book takes a job in some newspaper a reporter. But most of the times he/she ignore other skills which are necessary to publish his book. Those are selling skills. If your book becomes famous it will be called as the best selling book and not the best writing book. If you are willing to become a successful entrepreneur you must know atleast a little of accounts, share market, tax, sales so that no one can betray you.

One thing we should always keep in mind is that money is an illusion. If we run behind money misery will follow us but if we run behinf knowledge money will follow us. If you found some new theory dont directly critize first analyse it study it. So the most important thing is to be student and learn how things are happening around you and after learing things you should implement them in real life. Many people are master with the theory but they are too much afraid to take risks. There is a difference between being a broke and being a poor. Broke is temporary wheras poor is permanent.

And last but not the least is to believe that you can be rich. Behave like you are a rich. Apply the secret. Ask universe that i want to become rich. Believe that you are rich and feel good about being rich. Your dream will manifest itself in reality soon.

I am already feeling rich

"Friends" of BJP

These days I am totally lukkha. All my MBA entrance exams are over and I am waiting for the results. So I spend most of the time on net and catch up with my reading. Few days back I got a message on my mobile that there is a seminar happening in Ravindra Natya Mandir, Dadar where Mr. Arun Jaitley, a BJP leader is going to address people before elections. So just out of caprice I decided to attend that seminar. They were calling it as the "friends" of BJP seminar.

I had never been to any such political seminar so while going there I was quite excited. It was going to start on
11 am and I reached there at 11.30. Mr Arun Jaitley was speaking. They had placed speakers as well screens in the corridor so I was able to hear him before entering the hall. He was speaking in his hefty voice. He was standing on the podium wearing his customary white kurta pyjama. They gave me some forms to fill which I returned torn and unfilled. :P. I entered the hall and it was almost full. I got the seat in the last row besides a guy who was wearing almost similar looking attire as arun Jaitley. He was a thin guy must be in his 60's. Mr Jaitley was speaking.

Mr Jaitley was talking about how congress has screwed up
India over the years. He was ridiculing congress for being dynastic. How difficult it is for new leaders to reach higher positions in congress because of the dynasty in congress. He also roasted our PM by saying "PM is in office but not in power." Then he gave some examples. Like the numbers given by congress about fiscal deficit(6%) and how experts think that they are far more than what they have given(9%) and how he thinks that they should be far more than what experts have said(13-15%). I was waiting now he will say something about what BJP is going to do. Now he will say but all in vain. He just went on to blackguarding the congress rule.

Then there was a question answer session. . I had a question so I wrote it on a paper and passed it on to the stage through a security guard (I wondered why he was there as no one had checked me while coming inside). Mr Jaitley was now answering the questions. He was asked are you people going to apply some new strategies or you are going to go with the same old methodologies. I thought he should have taken this opportunity to tell everyone about the new visions of BJP instead he said what I am doing right now with you is something new what we are doing. Well begging for votes and ridiculing opposition in AC hall in front of the youth is something new what BJP is doing. Exemplary. My neighbor was impressed clapping and all and also laughing on his taunts on congress. I found it strange and got to know within 5 mins, why he was doing so.

Then came my question which was "I am 22 and most of my generation think that all politicians are corrupt; how will you address that?" and guess what? I was unable to hear what he said. A person sitting next to me started asking me Q's .. My neighbor – some BJP neta from Versova was so impressed with my question(I don't know why) that he poured me with questions. Like what I do and the works. I found him answering my question by saying the answer to your question is what Mr Jaitley was saying about congress being ruled by dynasty. What crap !!. And after 2 mins he did something very (over) smart. He took out some tobacco from his pocket. He ate that and very tactfully he placed the wrapper in the cover of his seat, very carefully making sure that no one is watching him. How long does it takes for a human being to develop a civic sense? 60 yrs are also not enough? Enough is enough.

I am glad I went for this seminar. At least now I am sure to whom I should not be voting.

But to whom should I vote???

Forrest Gump....an ingenious ediot

I saw this movie may be 1 year ago and now I am reading the book. Both are amazing. The book revived my memories when I used to hang out at manas'(my school friend) place and we used to watch lots of movies. It used to be fun. Now that he is in US we don't get to hangout and also I don't watch that many movies. Forest Gump was one of the best movies we had seen and is also one of my all time favorites.

It's a story of an "idiot" called forrest gump played by tom hanks(what an actor!!). In movie people find forrest a moron because of his inability to communicate properly but in his splendid journey of life he proves that he is a genius with above average IQ and with some amazing skills in american football, table tennis, chess and wrestling too.

Many times this happens with us that we tend to judge people from their appearance and then we make opinion about them and based on that we treat them. We don't even give them time to express themselves prove themselves. Why do we hate people?

Krishna said to Arjuna in Bhagvatgita that everything is me. Everything is just one. Everythng has evolved from me and everything will come inside me. Similarly in modern physics its been proved that everything started from a single event big bang and all of us are made up of same elements. So you,me,he,she and it everything is just one. So when you are hating someone you are hating yourself. When you are cursing someone you are cursing yourself and also when you are loving someone you are loving yourself. In famous novel shantaram(based on a true story) the hero of the novel goes to live in the slums and after living there for few months he says "like most of the things and most of the people it is not as bad as it seems from outside". So the point is love everyone. Smile at everyone. Accept everyone.

Life is really very short to hate anyone.
